A documentary by Inês Medeiros that revisits the memory of the Salazar years through the eyes and testimony of several women from different social backgrounds who, in 1958, were invited to express their support for Salazar in laudatory letters, on the pretext of the first crisis that shook the dictatorship, during the campaign of General Humberto Delgado. From the most fervent defenders of the dictator to the more restrained or simple ones, on whom propaganda had another kind of effect, "Letters to a Dictatorship" dismantles the regime and its perpetuation strategies.
