Anne (Léa Drucke) is an experienced and successful lawyer with a case involving a minor who has been sexually abused. She is happily married to Pierre, with whom she has two adopted daughters. Her life, until then peaceful and comfortable, is turned upside down when Theo (Samuel Kircher), the teenage son Pierre had from his first marriage, moves in with her. The natural coexistence between Anne and the insinuating Theo gradually narrows, until it gives way to an uncontrolled desire that will inevitably culminate in the destruction of that family. Directed by Catherine Breillat - ten years after "Abus de Faiblesse", with Isabelle Huppert and Kool Shen - this is a drama about guilt, abuse of power and manipulation that re-adapts the film "Queen of Hearts", directed in 2019 by Danish director May el-Toukhy.
