Mário Cesariny is a Portuguese artist who is recognised for both his poetry and his work. As well as being an artist, we also consider him to be a revolutionary thinker who has always in search of freedom as the most basic condition of the human being. The show "Herói é o Meu Nome" is an appropriation of his life and work and its transformation into a multidisciplinary performative act that combines poetry, music, the manipulation of objects, shadows and much more. Perhaps a collage, perhaps a cadavre exquis. Above all, it is an tribute to an artist who should never be forgotten.
