The Casa das Artes of Famalicão hosted, this Monday, June 21, the ceremony of delivery of diplomas and certificates of the process of recognition, validation and certification of skills (RVCC) school and professional of the Qualifica Centre of Famalicão.
This time, 200 adults completed their RVCC process and are now better prepared for their professional lives or to overcome the current unemployment situation.
These adults were accompanied by the Famalicão Qualifying Centre and received training through the centres of the Padre Benjamim Salgado School Grouping, the D. Sancho I School Grouping, the Camilo Castelo Branco School Grouping, the FORAVE Professional School and CESPU.
This group of two hundred adults concluded the basic level - 9th year of schooling -, secondary - 12th year of schooling - and professional certification.
The solemn session counted with the presence of the Mayor, Paulo Cunha, the councillor of Education, Leonel Rocha, the vice-president of the Institute of Employment and Professional Training (IEFP), António Leite, and the president of the National Agency for Qualification and Professional Education, Filipa de Jesus.
Moments before the diplomas delivery - which was animated by the ARTEDUCA Orchestra and Dance Conservatory of Vila Nova de Famalicão -, the vice-president of IEFP noted that Famalicão is a "county of national reference in adult qualification" and stressed that this reference should be made because "it is the truth". António Leite took the opportunity to highlight that the result of Vila Nova de Famalicão in the field of adult training is due to the options and the "joint work" between the IEFP and the City Council led by Paulo Cunha and the work of the councillor Leonel Rocha.
Next, the president of the National Agency for Qualification and Vocational Education, Filipa de Jesus, highlighted the fact that the Vila Nova de Famalicão Qualifica Centre is in the restricted group of centres "with the best performance in the country". She justified this distinction with the "excellence indicators" of the Qualifying Centre of Vila Nova de Famalicão, always "higher than the national average". Filipa de Jesus highlighted the fact that the Vila Nova de Famalicão Qualifica Centre is "often cited as good practice" by other Qualifica Centres in the country.
The Councillor for Education, Leonel Rocha, recalled the way that the Centro Qualifica of Vila Nova de Famalicão acts, in the involvement of all the entities of the Local Education and Training Network, through an integrated and concerted model, in poles. The councillor points out the existence of decentralised services and the commitment of the partnerships/entities involved, in order to ensure the effective implementation of the foreseen measures and actions.
The support in innovation factors, namely in the profitability of the existing resources in the territory, through the allocation/availability of human resources and physical facilities necessary for the implementation of the proposed actions, in order to enhance the existing synergies, were also highlighted by Leonel Rocha.
The Mayor, Paulo Cunha, thanked all the entities involved in this adult training process and highlighted the fact that this was a "relevant ceremony" for the county because it was "a very important moment in the lives of many people".
