This Monday, June 21, the Town Council of Vila Nova de Famalicão and the Institute for Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP) signed a new collaboration protocol that foresees the provision of premises that will result in more training of adults in Famalicão.
At the protocol ceremony, Carla Vale, IEFP's Regional Delegate for the North, highlighted the close collaboration between the institute and the local authority that has resulted in another protocol. She underlined the "proximity" and the "networking" that has been taking place between IEFP and the Municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão. "The municipalities are entities that know the needs of the communities and are excellent partners of the IEFP", she stressed.
Finally, Carla Vale thanked "the trust of Vila Nova de Famalicão City Council" in the IEFP services.
The mayor, Paulo Cunha, replied and thanked "IEFP for the confidence" placed in the famalicense municipality, underlining that this protocol "is a bond" of a collaboration that assumes to apply "energy and resources" in favour of the people of Vila Nova de Famalicão.
The mayor pointed out that he defends a "multi-level governance", explaining that it is materialised in the action of several entities with affinity and competences about concrete problems and that act in synchrony.
